this beautiful girl

how fun was she!... We went out to play one night and practice a couple things, and this is the result :) Which I am so happy with. I couldn't decide which ones I liked best so this is a long post!.. be prepared :)

By far my most favorite of the whole night.. something a little different than my normal, but it's so fun to try new processing!

Alexa :)

I had a super fun shoot with a super cute girl yesterday :) Alexa came out to model for a couple hours and the weather was fantastic. It sprinkled on us almost the whole time and there was just enough breeze to make the air almost perfect! Fun times, fun times :) Thanks again Alexa, it was so fun to meet you!

Little B.

So this little guy was the lucky winner of the "free session giveaway" on Friday night! And I was so glad! I have met his family before when I did their WHOLE family about 2 months ago.. Grandma and Aunts and Uncles and everyone! So just this little guy by himself was so funny, he really didn't want to have anything to do with me.. if I even talked to him he just turned and ran the other way :) But his amazing smile and rosey cheeks definitely gave for some adorable shots!


I think this is the look of him just daring me to try to get him to smile!!...

I absolutely love little hands and little feet, so this one was one of my favorites.. . plus I love how you can see his reflection in the glass!..
And a big kiss from mom is how we ended the night :) I really love how you can see the sun light in both their hair...

windy days ..

Today I got to enjoy the wind.. and I mean REALLY enjoy the wind!! I had totally forgot how fun kites really were, until my gorgeous little man reminded me of how fun they can be.. we spend some time at the park with his $ .99 Transformers kite and it was worth every penny! haha! But really, just to see him having so much fun melts my heart. I never thought I could love a laugh as much as I do ...

James ran his little heart out to get that kite as high as it would possibly go!!

What a beautiful afternoon...

Today I had the awesome opportunity to second shoot this wedding with Erik Merkow of ErikMerkowPhotography. Everything was so gorgeous, it was at the Hyatt Regency at Gainey Ranch in Scottsdale, super fancy! Carey was such a fun bride who laughed and went about the day with no stress or nervousness, just total excitement. It was so fun to be around her and it reminded me of my own exciting day :)

Her little flower girl and ring bearer were absolutley adorable.

This was by far my most favorite shot of the entire day. Both of these two were so emotional and so grateful for eachother, I think I had to wipe away a tear of my own :)
