so close....

How gorgeous is my friend Maija??!! I just love these pictures because she has a different look in almost every picture, and every face is so dang adorable :) She is soooo close, actually having her C-section tomorrow morning!! Yeah!! Baby time :) So we had a great time out venturing through a little park she took me to, finally having a chance to hang out and just talk. She's so wonderful and I am so excited she's bringing another beautiful baby into her family...



And this is Rowen... he's so excited to be a big brother.. what a cutie :)

My baby is growing up...

So I don't take enough pictures of my own kids these days so I thought I'd try to get a cute smiley face from my baby...but she really wasn't going for it, like usual! at least I got a look!

Yeeee hawww!

So maybe I'm a little more excited about the cowboy hat than he was... but I finally got him to let me take a picture! We found my old hat moving my mom and dad last week and I just couldn't even believe they still had it. I used to love this hat and wear it all over, (when I was like 6 or 7 years old) so you can imagine how excited I was that James wanted to wear it!! ...just not have his picture taken in it! One day I'll dig out my old photo album and pic my old picture on here too.. scary! (don't mind all that other stuff in the picture,,, don't forget, they were moving!)

The Jensens

Last Friday a fellow photographer needed to have her family pictures done and I was lucky enough to get to take them! This family was so dang cute and so fun to be around...
This isn't my usual style of editing but I decided to try out a new program so let me know what you think... :)

"vintage"

A few months ago joined a group of photographer girls who meet once a month and plan super cool activities and this was our latest! The theme of the evening was "Vintage" We had the awesome opportunity to go to this huge farm with tons of cool props, backrounds, trees and animals! Not to mention the models that joined us!! So gorgeous and so fun! These are a few of my favorites...

Holy cow I really had no idea how much fun shooting a wedding really would be! And having these two as my bride and groom made it so much better :) They were so cute and so in-love, what could make a better session! I just have tons and tons of pictures still to go through, but I thought I would get a few in for the family to see :) You guys have a great honeymoon! I will talk to you soon!

Kirkham Family

This family is just so cute! This very cute little guy was on my sons t-ball team so I got to hang out with mom a ton during the season. I was so excited when she asked me to do her family pictures because I already knew how fun they were :) We managed to get some awesome pictures even though we ran out of time due to some work issues dad had to take care of before we got started!... but hopefully we'll start getting together more often and I'm sure I'll get plenty of time to take more pictures of the kids :) for fun!



I definitely got more frowns than smiles from this little one, but you can see just how gorgeous those little eyes are. What a cutie :)

~Moms present~

So meet Megan and Hunter. Megan is so cute, she decided to have pictures taken of her and her brother for their mom for her Christmas present :0) Isn't that sweet! I've actually known Megan for years, probably about 15 years... her and my little sister did gymnastics together in middle school and then she found me on facebook! How great is that! This was so fun, we met on Mill and walked all over trying to find cool spots. Their mom and dad live in downtown Tempe so they wanted to do pictures in their part of town, I think we found some really cool places! Hopefully Mom likes 'em :) Thanks again Megan, I had a great time and it was awesome getting to see you again!

giggley girls!!

I just love sisterly love! I had two sisters myself so I know how much fun it can be .. and sometimes not so fun! but this day it was great, we got some great smiles and great laughs, and this is the reasons I became a photographer :)
